I have entered info for years on turbo tax for my vehicles. Now I am at that part and none of my business vehicles show up for the past. I am now in the section tell us about your business vehicle. Like I am starting over again? I am using home and business. Why wouldn't previous years depreciation purchase cost etc have moved over for continuation.

Help pls.

I suspect that you have not opened the previous year's tax return when you started the 2022 tax return.

Tax returns prepared in the TurboTax CD/Download Home and Business software are stored locally on your computer or storage device, even if you e-filed.

This differs from TurboTax Online. TurboTax does not maintain returns prepared in the TurboTax CD/Download software on TurboTax secure servers.

To locate your return:

Use your computer's Search or Find function, just as you would when searching for any other document.
If you just need to view or print your return, we recommend doing it from the PDF copy, which will open in Adobe Reader.

You can also search for the tax data file, but you will need to open it in the same-year version of TurboTax (for example, open your 2022 return in TurboTax 2022, not an earlier version). From there, you can print a copy of your return as well as update or amend it.
