Most taxpayers receive their refunds within 21 days after their federal return is accepted if they have elected direct deposit.  Taxpayers who have requested a check usually have their check mailed within four weeks. 

 

You can check the status of your refund at this link, 48 hours after your return has been accepted by the IRS: Where's My Refund?
