You would have to use the desktop version of TurboTax to enter a residential property for your business reported on a schedule C. In that program, you would use the Forms menu option to bring up a list of the forms in your program and then find the Asset Entry workheet for the property you entered as a commerical property. On the worksheet, you can enter I - Residential rental on line 5 and then your property will be listed as residential and depreciated over 27.5 years.
