where do i find info for section 1250 and 1235 on a K-1 box 17B

    It depends. Based on the information provided by the statements that came with your K1, make your selection.

    • 1250 Property is land, buildings and structural components with gains from sale
    • 1235 Property is all substantial rights to a patent, or an undivided interest in it with a gain

    Once you make the selection TurboTax will carry it to the appropriate place on your tax return. You should see Form 4797 in your tax forms.
