I've deducted our Medicare and Prescription premiums but still have additional insurance premiums for health care and can't find where to put the information. What boxes do I go to and how do I get there?
Select Federal Taxes
Select Deductions and Credits
Select Show More at Medical
Select Start or revisit at Medical Expenses.
Select continue until your reach the screen titled "How much did you spend on insurance premiums?"
You can total all of the additional insurance premiums that you have and include them the Additional medical insurance premiums box. If you want to list each item separately, continue to the next screen titled "Tell us about any other medical expenses" where you can type a description for each additional insurance premium that you have.
