I ALSO tried registering my self proprietary business with EFTPS but it never worked out and I kept getting errors. Is there any straightforward document or site to send estimated quarterly payments (for federal and California state taxes)?? I want to avoid penalties come tax time next April. Thank you!

Hello,

You can either go online to make your estimated payments or you can mail them in.

Here is the website to pay the Federal estimates https://www.irs.gov/payments you will select the pay now option since this is a sole proprietor and goes on your individual return

Here is the website to pay Ca online and also the address to mail in the payment https://www.ftb.ca.gov/pay/estimated-tax-payments.html
