Did you enter income that was reported on a 1099NEC or on a 1099Misc?

If you have included income reported on Form 1099-NEC, that is non-employee compensation.  This type of income is generally included on Schedule C Business Income and Expenses since the entity paying you considered you as an independent contractor and not an employee.

TurboTax will include the information on Schedule C and you may see questions about any related business expenses.
