At the top of the sheet it says, Tax and Interest Deduction Worksheet.

That worksheet is used to enter property, sales or state income tax, and mortgage interest paid during the year, which are deductible as itemized deductions. Itemizing your deductions will benefit you if the total of them is more than your standard deduction. The standard deduction is $12,950 (single filer) and $25,900 (married filing joint) in 2022. Your major itemized deductions are mortgage interest, state taxes, contributions and property tax. If you think the total of those is less than your standard deduction, then you will probably benefit from using the standard deduction. In that case, you don't need to enter anything for the schedule A entry.
