Why do my inputs keep saying "needs review" despite having reviewed and completed already?

First, answer the questions for income and dividends to see whether the review issues can be answered there.  Sometimes there are blank fields that need to be entered or information that needs to be deleted.

 

If 'Needs Review' persists, cycle though Income & Expenses, Deductions & Credits, Other Tax Situations and Federal Review.  If you receive a message at Federal Review, it may provide more information about the issue that needs to be resolved.

 

If you are getting a 'Needs Review' and nothing you do is eliminating the error, you may want to delete the form and then re-enter the form by hand.   Sometimes there is something that is hanging up in the return that just by deleting and re-entering the document in question, fixes the problem.
