Why does TurboTax stop me from progressing to set up my new LLC with only 1 member, me?

    Have you elected to have your single-member LLC treated as a corporation? If so, you can prepare the company tax return using TurboTax Business.

     

    If not, the LLC is a "disregarded entity," and the LLC's activities should generally be reflected on Form 1040 Schedule C. You will need either the Premium version of TurboTax Online or any version of TurboTax for Desktop.
