Why is Form 7206 line 14 not transferring correctly onto Schedule 1 Line 17, and Schedule C Line 5a? It is adding $3 onto the amount in both Schedules.

Interestingly, the pop-up for Schedule 1, Line 17 shows the amount from Form 7206 Line 14 correctly even while the displayed amt on Line 14 is different (increased by $3). Nowhere is $3 showing on any Form, Schedule, Worksheet, etc.

Did you also enter a 1095-A? If so, is the $3 showing on as Medical expenses on Schedule A?

If not, I am unsure of what is happening.

What is even more bizarre is that TurboTax seems to file Form 7206 even when it is not required in most cases.

Thank you! I double-checked as I did enter 1095-A. That pesky $3 is not showing up there, nor anywhere else - I've literally checked every field showing up in my Turbo Tax. I saw a thread about the 1095-A and Form 7206 additions happening last year, seems something changed on back end as mine is not merging those amts. $3 is an awfully strange amt to 'add in' out of nowhere. I did finally found how to send it to TT tech support, no response. Appreciate your time!
