Why would a Schedule C be showing on my taxes if I don't own or operate a business? It's holding up my ability to submit my return.

It's asking me to submit information that doesn't exist. I've never owned or operated a business. I only have a W-2 from my only job.

To clarify,

Did you enter a 1099-G ?

Did you enter Unemployment and/or a tax refund?

If so, review those entries to make certain they were not enter as "Government Payments"
