How do I enter a value for Schedule 1, Section II, line 24h.

Attorney fees and court costs for actions involving certain unlawful discrimination claims

Those fees will have to be entered in Forms mode when using the TurboTax desktop editions.

Click on Forms

When in Forms mode, click on 1040/1040SR Wks on the left side of the Forms mode page to open the worksheet.

Scroll down the worksheet to Schedule 1, Part II. In the Other Adjustments to Income Smart Worksheet, on Line K Attorney fees and court costs for actions involving unlawful discrimination, enter the amount of the fees.

The amount entered will flow to the Schedule 1 Line 24h on the 1040/1040SR Worksheet and to Schedule 1 Line 24h and to Form 1040 Line 10
