I have a credit score of 807 which is pretty good. 1% DTI. no outstanding loans or credit card debt no mortgage . over 40 years of credit history. seems like 807 is kind of low considering I know a young man half my age. he has a $200,000 mortgage, has a car loan and makes his payments on time. constantly opens credit cards to get promotions but always pays off the balance. He has an 850 credit score. something is not right. How can he have a much higher score than me? Is it age discrimination?

You are probably looking at a FICO score and anything at 800 or above is considered "Excellent"; the difference between an 807 and an 850 is nothing but gloss.
