      for free, many banks offer credit scores on their monthly statement or online.  the same is true for many credit cards.

       

      you should know that there are three major credit reporting agencies and your credit score will differ from one to another.   there are other credit reporting agencies.

       

      different agencies use different formulas and scores are computed on different days of the month.
