Can I claim credit on foreign income for rental expenses

Hi there

 

I work in the US and rent a small unit to perform my duties. Was wondering if I can claim credit for the rent I paid there on my Canadian tax returns.

    To claim such an expense, you would need a T2200 from your employer saying that you were required to rent this unit as part of your employment.
