How can I delete a charitable tax record for 2023? Previous years you could remove individual receipts, but now they lock me in & want to force me to pay.

I only had one donation of $20, and since donation claims are behind a pay wall of $42 (+$21 since I'm filing with my spouse), I obviously want to just remove the one donation record & file for free. Unlike in previous years where I could edit, add, & remove donation reciepts, I am locked in to claiming the donation & having to pay the additional service fees. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, there is no way to downgrade a TurboTax product once it has been upgraded. If you are using TurboTax Online, you’ll need to start a new return to change your product. To start a new return, select “Start a New Return” from under “My Returns” in the top left corner. Once you have started your new return, you can select “View All Returns” from under “My Accounts & Returns”. Then delete the unwanted return by clicking the small Trash Can next to it or “Delete” under the return’s name.
