How do i unlock the donation profile?

If you are using TurboTax Online and you are being told that donations are locked, that means you will need to upgrade in order to be able to add donations to your tax return. To do this, you just need to enter your donation amounts and TurboTax will automatically upgrade itself. 

Please follow the steps below to open the donations profile page: 

1. Select Find (or the magnifying glass icon) from the top right of the page.
2. Enter “don” in the Find window.
3. Select “Donations Profile” from the list of results and click the Go button.
4. On the “Donations Profile for 2021” page, check off any boxes that apply to you, then click the Continue button to go through the sections you have selected.
