Is it possible basically to file and claim back the 15% taken at source already from IBKR or 15% is the best it will be?

You would not be able to file a tax return in Canada without a Social Insurance Number or an Individual Tax Number. You would need one of these numbers no matter how you choose to prepare your taxes.

Also, our Full-service team is not able to prepare Non-resident returns.

Ok many thanks for the reply. That said is this a service that TurboTax can do for me and if so how do i go about filing this as i don't have a Tax number in Canada and seems like system won't let me proceed without one.

Perhaps i can email someone here directly if they would like to take up my filing for me , is that possible ?

    Thanks ! J
