I cannot remove the Northern residents deduction. How do I do that?

To remove the Northern Resident Deduction, you need to clear the information you entered in the sections. 

Please follow this:

1. Go to the menu on the left side in your return.
2. Scroll down to click on Deductions.
3. Scroll down to click on Other Deductions.
4. Click on Northern Residents Deduction to make changes to your entry, then remove all the entries manually as needed in each screen.
5. Always click Continue at the bottom of the screen to save your changes.
6. The screen "Here's your deductions summary" will now open where you can see "Other deductions" have been cleared.
