Is hip surgery in america tax deductable in canada ?
in june 2023 i went to seattle (usa) and had a total hip replacement.
the wait for the proceedure in alberta was 2 1/2 years, as i was nearly crippled and in extreme pain after a years wait i paid to have it done outside of albert/canada.
is it an eligible medical expense i can claim on my 2023 tax return ?
