Is there a limit on daycare expense for 2022

My child was 3 years old in 2022. I rushed to submit my tax and I had reviewed my tax with one of the Turbo tax expert. However, I read on CRA website the there is a cap or limit. I’m confused and concerned

    Hi Jen, 

     

    Yes, there is a limit on claiming daycare expenses. The maximum child care expenses that can be claimed per child each year is limited to $5,000, $8,000 or $11,000 depending on the circumstances.
