Where do i enter a charitable donation (red cross)

When using TurboTax, you will be asked if you made charitable donations in the profile section of your return. Answer Yes to the question and then you will be prompted to select which type of donation you made. You will then be able to fill out the details of your donation in the deductions section of your return.

Note: If you're using TurboTax for free, you will be asked to upgrade in order to unlock this section

You can also follow the steps below:

1. Select "Find" icon in TurboTax. This is located in the upper right corner (magnifying glass + find)

2. In the search window, you can type "Donation"

3. Select "Donations Profile" from the list

4. Then click "Go"
