Debt settlement companies vs. Snowball methoc

Hi Everyone, I recently signed up with a debt settlement company, but A. I feel kind of bad about it and B. I see where quite a few of you have mentioned the snowball method. I am wondering if anyone has done the debt settlement, and I would also like to learn more about the snowball method. I would really prefer to pay my debt off and until now didn't realize any of the things I've read posted by some other folks here. I would appreciate any and all advice, opinions and experiences. Thanks!

Do a google search for Dave Ramsey. Go to the website and find a local radio station in your area that caries his program. Then listen to it for at least 15 minutes. I dare you. :)
