I've read this article: https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/insurance-medical-benefits/self-employed-health-insurance-deduction-partners/L1gYQG7n0_US_en_US?uid=lurt8ahj

I'm a K-1 partner paying for my health insurance. I tried manually updating Schedule 1 of Form 1040 line 17 Self Employed Health Insurance Deduction and TurboTax does not allow this field to be entered. I followed the above guidance and answered the questions and nothing translates over to the 1040 Schedule 1. I do see a K1P addl Info 1 Form was created however.

Seems this should be simple that I should be able to just enter this value into line 17.  Someone please help.

Does box 14 show with code A positive net earnings from self-employment?  If not, TurboTax will ignore the amount reported with code M in box 13 because you have no self-employment income from the partnership against which to apply the deduction.

After you enter the K-1, you will come to a screen you to describe the partnership - You have to put a tick mark in the box that says I personally paid for health insurance.   2 screens later, enter the amount on the Any SE Insurance Costs screen.   That amount will go to Schedule 1, Line 17.
