1095-A

My adult child is a dependent on our tax return and our health insurance policy through marketplace. I read that TT would say that "since someone is claiming you on their 2022 taxes you don't have to complete health insurance". But, TT is asking all the information from the form. Should she pick "No I didn't receive Form 1095 A"? I don't want her return to get rejected.

If you claim the child as a dependent on your return, they won't have any health insurance questions to answer on their own return. TurboTax will tell you Since someone is claiming you on their 2022 taxes, you don't have to complete Health Insurance. she shouldn't have received a 1095-A based n the fact she's on your policy. so assuming that's the case when you come to the question on her return of receiving a 1095-A  answer no
