I am from Massachusetts. It say I need a sch. C form.. I do not have a business and what I received was in coupons' app that I received to use in any store of my choice.  What FORM do I use and how do I do it? Thank You

Ibotta is an app that offers coupons. Then I deposit my Ibotta cash (coupons) to Pay Pal and I can than spend it at any store.

If you did not earn this income as a "business", you could report as Other Income.  You would still have to include as income tax but you would not have to pay employment taxes on it.  

 

If your Form 1099-K is not a business, enter the income in TurboTax under:

  1. Under Wages & Income, click I'll choose what I work on.
  2. Scroll down to the Less Common Income group, and
    next to the Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A & C topic, click the Start/Update button.
  3. On the Let's Work on Any Miscellaneous Income screen next to Other income not already reported on a Form W-2 or Form 1099, click Start/Update
  4. Answer Yes about other wages and Continue through the screens to the Any Other Earned Income screen. 
    Answer Yes to receiving other wages and follow the prompts.
