Question

A manufacturer paid the difference on a prescription not paid by my health insurance but was part of my deductible. Can I add this amount to my taxes?

Prescription amount was approximately $1,300 each month and the manufacturer paid the amount and was applied to my deductible. Can I add this amount to my taxes?

No, you cannot deduct the portion of the prescription paid by the manufacturer.  For your medical expense deduction you can only deduct expenses that you personally paid.
