"About how much did you spend on medical expenses?" Does this mean purely what I've paid off? Or does this include my debt? Please help.

I have gone to the hospital multiple times, due to being prescribed anti-anxiety / anti-depressants which had a very serious interaction with me.

only what you paid out of pocket or put on a credit card and isn't covered by insurance.
