Hello! After I filed 2020 income taxes the IRS discovered I had neglected to include my wifes pension income and I owed (and paid) additional tax. Where do I report this additional income tax payment for 2020 on this year's(2021) return?

Federal tax you paid is not deductible on your federal return.

There are six states that allow you to enter the federal tax you paid on your state return--Alabama, Iowa. Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, and Oregon. If you are filing in one of these states watch for the deduction when you prepare your state return.
