Adoption Credit Carryover

Hi there!

We adopted our daughter in 2023 when she was 17.  Last year, TurboTax said that we could carryover credit.  Well, she has since turned 19, and TurboTax will not allow the filing since she has to be younger than 18. 

 

Thoughts? What is happening?

    Be sure to not enter any expenses for 2024 and continue to the screen to enter the credit carryforward.
