advance tax credit payments

I received a letter stating that I may be eligible to receive the advance payments.  But when I went on the IRS website it states that I am not eligible.  My daughter and her 2 children (ages 2 & 3) live in my home and I do claim them on my taxes.

Do you have any idea why I would not be eligible?

Information on eligibility criteria can be reviewed on the IRS's Advance Child Tax Credit Eligibility Assistant. You may find information on  your particular situation at their ACTC Portal. If you feel they have denied you the advance payments in error, you can contact the IRS. However, note that any payments you don't receive now will be credited to your return that you file in the spring. So you won't lose the money, you just won't get it now.
