I was a 1099 insurance agent but decided to stop and work for another company as an hourly employee in October of that year. In 2020 received a chargeback on a commission and did pay it back but wanted to know if i can claim the charge back if I amend my 2020 return. Since I was not a 1099 agent and I never revived one with a correction of the chargeback money I paid back.
