Agi of 60000, 4000 to charities, can I still use standard deduction?

If the charitable donation is your only itemized deduction the TurboTax program will automatically use the Standard Deduction on your tax return.

Yes, you can generally always use the standard deduction, unless a specific circumstance prohibits it.

 

AGI doesn't change standard deduction v. itemized (unless you get into high income areas.)  What matters is filing status, (single/MFJ/MFS/Head of household) and age.

 

For single under age 65, the standard deduction is $12,550.  Unless you have other itemized deductions that together with the $4,000 to charities would be over $12,550, use the standard.
