Code DD in box 12 of your W-2 is the sum of what your employer and you paid for health insurance premiums. It is often a large number (health care being so expensive).

As you suspect, code W is the sum of your employer's and your contributions to your HSA by means of payroll deduction. If you don't have an HSA, then you shouldn't have this entry.

Immediately stop work on your tax return and go to your HR or payroll department and ask them to issue you a "corrected" W-2.
