I see individual geek squad visits can be deductible. How about the annual fee? Is that deductible?

The Annual Geek Squad fee is deductible as a business expense if it is for computers/equipment that is used for business.  Whether you utilize the service or not does not matter.

Are you self-employed?   Is the Geek Squad coming to work on computers you use for business?   If you are talking about having the Geek Squad come and fix your personal computer(s), that is not deductible.  That is a personal expense.

I wanted to know if the $200 annual fee for Geek Squad, whether you use them or not, is deductible. I assume the answer is no. PS The links are great for someone who isn't using Turbotax. Every one of those topics are clearly defined at every step along the way.

Yes, if they are used strictly for your business.  If you use some services for business then you must determine the business use percentage and take only that as a deduction.

If this is a personal expense then there would be no deduction.

Below are some helpful links to assist with other business expenses.

Didn't need to read thousands of words, Just needed to know if it is or not. There are enough perhaps, maybes, sometimes, could, should, documents, reports, etc. I know, it's all designed for the taxpayer to just give up.
