are private school teachers statuatory employees?

I was asked while preparing taxes if I am a statuatory employee. So far I found that if you teach in a public school you ARE but I teach in a private/parochial high school.  Help please.

Teachers, whether in a public school or private school are employees, not statutory employees.

 

Please read this IRS definition of statutory employees.
