Art Booth Cost

Hello

I paid for an art booth throughout the last quarter of the year in 2024.  I became ill and could not attend all of them, can I still write off those booth fees, they would not reimburse me.

    Yes, you could still write off the booth fee because tradeshow booths can often be used as a way to promote and market the business and its products or services.  This would be considered an advertising expense.  

     

    However, if you normally deduct travel expenses for the event, the travel expenses you would have incurred would not be deductible.
