Question

As a canadian am I allowed to do a tax return on the u.s. site of Turbo Tax? we sold a house for a profit in Florida last year and know we have to file a return?

You do need to file a tax return, but you should file form 1040NR, which is for non-residents. You cannot do that through TurboTax, but you can use Sprintax, which is affiliated with TurboTax as follows:
