Bought and moved into our current home in June 2015, but our old home didn't sell until March 2016. Is that considered a main home or second home? Didn't receive a 1099-s

UPDATED FOR TAX YEAR 2019

It is still considered a sale of your principal residence (unless you rented it out while it was on the market).
