I take a standard deduction for my federal tax return.  Since the property tax is deductible in California.  I need to add my California property tax.  I could't  find the place I can enter  the property tax in Turbotax's California Income Tax section. Where I can input the information in Turbotax?

Enter all of your property taxes paid in the Federal section of TurboTax.

If your deduction for taxes is limited to $10,000 on the Federal return, or you can't itemize on the Federal return, enter all of the information there anyway. The information will flow through to your California return. The California interview will ask questions about specific items that are treated differently on the California return.

See this Franchise Tax Board webpage for information on which deductions are treated differently for the State return.

Thanks for the help.  After I entered the information in Federal section, it did work in the California section.
