I notice that the 2024 California return is not changing the tax owed after I enter charitable contributions (I entered contributions after entering the state tax module and after the tax owed was calculated) . Did California end this allowance? Or is there a bug in the program? I did test it by artificially increasing interest income and tax owed increased in the top line display. Thanks for any advice on this.
