Can both homeowners claim the homestead property tax credit, or only 1 person?

We live together and share all bills. He already claimed the homestead credit, just not sure if I can too or not.

Double dipping is not allowed.   If one of you already claimed 100% of the credit then you cannot claim it on another tax return.
