Can I calim my son for the EIC only and he can claim his exemption?

If I claim my son for the EIC,and the other parent if not claiming the dependency, my son should take the depency.

Yes, it's possible to claim this way.  He can claim his own dependency if he provided for half of his own support.  If he did so, he may claim himself as an independent taxpayer.  You could still claim him for EIC depending on whether he qualifies you for EIC.  Here is an FAQ on this subject:  https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/4835245
