Can I claim deductions for child care if I do not claim child as dependent?

Me and her dad take turns every year on claiming our child. But I am the one paying for child care, can I claim the deductions for that even if I didn’t claim her as a dependent?

Sorry--no.  Only the custodial parent ---the parent the child lives with---can use the childcare credit.
