You can't deduct your expenses on your federal return. However, you might be able to deduct your expenses on your PA return.
For tax years beginning after 2017, you can no longer deduct moving expenses unless you are a member of the Armed Forces on active duty and, due to a military order, you move because of a permanent change of station.
In PA, moving expenses are only allowed if the move is necessary for the convenience of your employer AND if you pass the distance test.
Distance Test -- Your new workplace must be at least 35 miles farther than the distant between your old residence and your old workplace.
You would enter your expenses in the federal section and information will flow to your state return.
