Yes, if you mean that you had to pay New York State a Nonresident Real Property Estimated Income Tax Payment  https://www.tax.ny.gov/pdf/current_forms/it/it2663_fill_in.pdf when you sold your second home.

That payment would be deducted as a state estimated tax on your federal return.

  • Go to the top of your screen and choose My Account.
  • Choose Tools.
  • Choose Topic Search, then type in your topic (estimated tax payments)and click Go.

On the screen Estimated taxes start State estimated taxes for 2016 . Enter the date, amount and state. See the screenshot below.

You will need to file a New York return, and this payment will be credited to you as an estimated tax payment.
