Can i deduct my health insurance such as long term, short term and life and or dental?

Long term care premiums (I wasn't sure which long term you meant, see below)

These premiums are deductible on Schedule A for a qualified long-term care plan, but the deduction is subject to special limits:

Qualified long-term care premiums are deductible up to the following amounts.

  1. Age 40 or under – $390.
  2. Age 41 to 50 – $730.
  3. Age 51 to 60 – $1,460
  4. Age 61 to 70 – $3,900
  5. Age 71 or over – $4,870

Long term disability premiums

Not deductible

Short term disability premiums

Not deductible

Life insurance premiums

Not deductible

Dental insurance

Dental insurance premiums are deductible on Schedule A
