I sold my home that I resided in for 15 years and want to know if I can deduct my real estate agents commission from the sale.  This was my primary/only residence for the past 15 years.

No, the sales commission is not deductible on a tax return.

The commission is a sales expense that is subtracted from the sales price of the home when it is sold and calculating the gain or loss on the sale.
