Can I deduct property tax 50 percent of the first $200,000 of the actual value of a  primary residence as aveteran with a 100 percent disability rating in Colorado

For disabled veterans who qualify, 50 percent of the first $200,000 of actual value of the veteran’s primary residence is exempted.  This applies to your property tax not your income tax.  For your income tax return, if you itemize deductions, you would only be able to claim the actual property tax you pay.
